Pitcher Drill

New In-Motion animated QuickTime version now available for WebBall Team Players. Please sign in or join.

This Pitcher Fielding Practice drill works as a separate drill during practice or incorporate at the end of your regular pre-game infield.

RED lines are direction of ball throws or simulated hits.

BLUE and BLACK lines are direction of player movement.

Set-Up

Start with one pitcher on mound and the rest lined up on one knee just outside the first base foul line.

A coach or player can serve as batter or the catcher can bounce the balls to first baseman. Normally the first baseman for this drill is also one of your pitchers.
